The Upper Dell Tour is a great way to experience the history and beauty of the Wisconsin Dells. Starting from downtown Wisconsin Dells, the tour is handicap accessible and suitable for all ages. Over two hours the visitor enjoys a unique view of the Upper Dells. Touring the Upper Dells by jet boat is a great way to explore the river and and tour guides explain the ancient stories of the first inhabitants, the local Indian tribes. Stops are made at the two shore landings, one of which is the historic Stand rock, where passengers can see the location of the world's first stop-action photo taken in 1888 of a jumper leaping the five-foot gap.

It is a very relaxing trip with absolutely breathtaking scenery. I appreciate that along the way there were people who made certain that there would be no commercialism along the river to mar the view. I especially enjoyed the walk through Witches Gorge. It was well worth the price. This is what I would come to the Dells for, not for all the touristy spots.
