At Timbavati Wild Life Park in Wisconsin Dells, you can experience wildlife up close and personal. Twice a day there are interactive shows at the wildlife park that are hugely entertaining and educational. Wildlife shows feature interesting tidbits of information about some of the wildlife park's animal stars. The park also has feeding sessions where the kids can get up close to the giraffe, zebra and tortoise and feed them from feeding cups.
Animal guests at the park include: kangaroos, tigers, ant eaters, giraffes, zebras, alpacas, muntjac, white lions, colobus monkeys, lemurs, binturong, yellow headed vultures, Australian kookaburras, African crown cranes, spurthiged tortoises, white neck raven, crab eating macaques and macaws and more.
One of the wildlife park's most popular attractions is the white lions. White lions are extremely rare animals, in fact there are fewer than 200 thought to remain in the world. Kids love visiting the baby animals at the wildlife park, where they get the chance to catch a glimpse of a baby kangaroo sneaking a look out of its mom's pouch, maybe even a baby giraffe and watch other baby animals at the wildlife park take their first tentative steps. There are also camel rides for everyone to experience the hypnotizing gait of the ship of the desert. This park is different from most other zoos in that visitors get to interact with the animals much more than usual.
The wildlife park is open from May to September from 9am to 7pm. The park is located just past Noah's Ark.
